BE CONFIDENT THAT OUR TRANSITIONED LOVED ONES ARE SAFE WITH THE LORD! LET’S WALK IN HIS KINGDOM WAYS SO THAT IN OUR SEASON WE WILL JOIN THEM!
PEOPLE OF GOD… knowing how greatly our hearts grieve in this season of present and remembered losses of loved ones, the Lord speaks to us today, sending this message to those who can HEAR the Spiritual Kingdom Things of His Heart.
On Sunday, September 6th, I was one of the many Grieving, having recently experienced the loss of several loved ones. In the past, when I’ve felt the heaviness of grief, I’ve given this weight to the Lord in prayer and thanked Him for His Peace as I rested in and was comforted by His Love and His Word. That Sunday shadows of sorrow continued to ebb and flow throughout my waking hours. He knows all things… and deeply loves us all.
So it is that Our Father, God – El Shaddai Who is more than sufficient to meet our every need – directed me to a specific devotional journal that I’ve felt led to keep close by on my nightstand. It is titled: God Calling Journal, edited by A. J. Russell. The time was 10:10 a.m. The subject for September 6th’s reading was “Your Loved Ones.”
Suddenly, I realized that He had sent me to this September 6th devotional reading TWICE BEFORE at exactly 10:10 a.m. each time. The number “10” has spiritual significance pertaining to God’s Eternal statutes and commands and as…
NOW, today as our country also grieves in the remembrances of September 11, 2001, our Abba/Father, God Almighty, has instructed me to share with you the impact and impressions which the God Calling devotional page presented to me.
This page closed with the Scripture from Acts 16:31: “And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.’”
Yes… our Lord speaks with us in so many ways. I read and re-read these paragraphs several times before beginning to prepare this webpage message; each time praising the Lord for His tender love and care. And yet, as I read that closing Scripture, my heart became concerned for those who transitioned without accepting Him as Lord and Savior! Without BELIEVING IN HIM and His Redeeming work FOR US. To this concern I recalled The Lords recently saying:
“It’s John 3:16 Time!”
The Apostle John was recording Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus (a Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin ruling class). Jesus said:
“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness,
so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
that everyone who BELIEVES may have eternal life in him.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Eternal Life.”
John 3: 14-16 (NIV, emphasis added)
Then the Lord carried my thoughts back to April 9, 2009, when the Lord sent me on a brief visit to Heaven. The purpose seemed to be for deeper understanding of what is truly important and valuable – from Heaven’s Perspective.
We on earth, have become so burdened with the concept of time, the cares of this world and the people and things we’ve lost that we are unable to stay focused on God’s Ways, His Kingdom Purposes and His Timing!
So, the Lord saw fit to take me on a short excursion to Heaven’s environment, where we were walking…communicating by mutual understandings of the mind, while strolling casually among Heaven’s young inhabitants. I did not recognize my very calm, loving-spirited host, but I felt completely at ease! I had no sense of transition from the earth. I felt like I was a visitor, not a resident.
I saw a few adult persons whom I knew on earth, but my stroll could not be interrupted to engage them in my visit…I would later discover that my trip was designed to be purposeful and short!
As we strolled, I saw children playing in the beautiful sand, along the path of our stroll. Then, I saw something happening which would have caused great concern on earth but was permitted in Heaven! The children were playing with diamonds, mixed among the beautiful sand, or shall I say were playing with diamonds mixed with sand. They were playing so freely without threat or harm. I saw no one supervising them. My Companion Host of Heaven seemed not to notice that the children were playing with precious jewels which sparkled in their hands as they laughed and played upon their knees. (The children were about three and four earth-years old.)
I was so amazed by that which I saw that looked closer and discovered that they were also playing with very expensive looking, diamond studded watches – EARTH’S TIMEPIECES! When I questioned my Companion about why these children were allowed to play with such expensive “Time Pieces,” He revealed this TRUTH to my spirit:
IN TRUTH “TIME PIECES” HAVE NO PURPOSE IN HEAVEN…
…AS YOU CONSIDER THEIR VALUE AND PURPOSE ON EARTH
NOR IS VALUE MEASURED AS YOU MEASURE IT ON EARTH!
THE VALUE OF DIAMONDS IN HEAVEN IS FOR FREE ENJOYMENT…
INCLUDING ENJOYMENT FOR THE CHILDREN!
HEAVEN IS SO REAL!
AND, WHEN OUR LOVED ONES TRANSITION
INTO THE LORD’S ETERNAL PRESENCE, ALL OF HEAVEN’S BEAUTY AND PLEASURES ARE THERE TO ENJOY FREELY!
On other occasions, I have experienced visitations to Heaven’s environment and been allowed to see several persons who I knew in my life’s experiences on earth. And much to my delight and amazement, I was allowed to know their assigned work there! Several were functioning in roles that I would not have expected.
For example, I saw one woman who is serving as a surrogate mother ~ the Hostess of a beautiful Freedom House for young teenaged girls ~ girls who had no order in their HOMES on earth and not enough food to eat. This woman simply radiated Pure Joy as “Mother of the House” … with her beautiful soft smiles like fresh water for these thirsty teenaged girls, teaching them about The Lord and His Living Water while they know/experience total security!
During this short excursion, there seemed to be a Profound Awakening of Truths of Heaven’s Benefits in the areas of Time…Liberty…A vanishing of earthly cares…and a reinterpretation of our thought patterns…because they just don’t apply in heaven!
Our earthly thoughts have no relevance in Heaven! WE MUST LEARN HEAVEN’S WAYS!
Therefore, let’s be the Faithful Servants of the Lord while here on earth, and DO our John 3:16 Salvation Work, so that we are able to Rest and Celebrate Each One’s Homegoing with Absolute Assurance according to 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV):
“We are confident, I say,
and willing to be absent from the body, and present with the Lord.”

- testimony of His Creative Power!
- man’s responsibility to follow God’s Ways,
- and the completeness of God’s Perfect Order which we discover throughout His Word (Genesis to Revelation).
NOW, today as our country also grieves in the remembrances of September 11, 2001, our Abba/Father, God Almighty, has instructed me to share with you the impact and impressions which the God Calling devotional page presented to me.
- I am comforted knowing that our precious loved ones are IN God’s Keeping!
- They are safe and alive, learning and working (as the Lord has shown me, too).
- They are now Perfect Servants of God serving Him and those they love—including us!
- I was reminded that as my/our loved ones are no longer physically present with us, they share this Heavenly Life with Jesus—Who is also not physically with us, and…
- When Jesus returns SO WILL THEY!
- And, in God’s Presence they (like Jesus) plead our causes (our earthly needs) to the Father.
- It is a wonderful thing to think of our loved ones IN Heaven; unseen and enjoying Eternal Life but present (with us) in ways we cannot understand.
- Finally, the more I learn about God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the closer God is!
